Zillertal Panorama road
The 48km
long panorama road takes you up to 2000m above sea
level where you will enjoy fabulous views of the
Zillertal, the Inntal and to the breathtaking
Zillertal mountains.

steam train
Operates all year around. Travel by steam train from
Jenbach to Mayrhofen (37km). The NOSTALGIA BILLET is
valid for the Zillertalbahn train, the Achsensee
train and the Achsensee pleasure boats.

 Fuegen
Local Heritage Museum
Experience a historic journey back in time at the
Fuegen Local Heritage Museum, the oldest building in
the town. Alongside precious paintings and carvings,
the Maria Brettfall pilgrimage church also has
relics of St. Secundinus.
 Spieljoch
mine
Learn about the history of mining in
Fuegen/Fuegenberg. The mine in Oexeltal is
accessible from the top station of the Spieljoch
lift via Knappensteig trail. Walking time: approx 45
minutes.
 Nature
adventures in Zillertal
Includes the bird trail across the Zillergrund area
of natural beauty, as well the Tuxer glacier and the
Schlegeis reservoir. The breathtaking Zillertal
mountain scenery is sure to leave you with a lasting
impression.
 Krimml
waterfalls
The
Krimml waterfalls on the other side of the Gerlos
pass in neighbouring Salzburg region is an
attractive destination for an excursion and should
not be missed.
 Schwaz
and the surrounding area
Close to the First Holiday Region in Zillertal is
Schwaz, where you can go on three very interesting
excursions to the Schloss Tatzberg, the planetarium
and the silver mine.
The town of Kramsach
The town
of Kramsach lies close to Fuegen and, with the
Tyrolean Farmhouse Museum, it is an attractive
destination for a daytrip.
 The
town of Innsbruck
The
regional capital Innsbruck offers numerous places to
visit such as the Alpenzoo (Alpine Zoo), ideal for a
day trip from the First Holiday Region of the
Zillertal.
The
town of Rattenberg
Approximately 17km from Fuegen lies Rattenberg,
the oldest and smallest town in the Tyrol with
its famous lead crystal workshops.
Swarovski Crystal Worlds
World-famous, three-dimensional museum
showcasing crystals as well as sound and light
architecture by the international media artist
André Heller.
 The
town of Hall
Thriving little cultural village near Innsbruck.
Today Hall is a very lively town full of zest
for life.
