At the entrance of the world's most active valley - the ZILLERTAL - lies the holiday paradise "First holiday region of
the Zillertal" with the famous winter resorts Fügen/Hochfügen and Kaltenbach. The region includes 12 villages,
which fullfil all requirements of international guests.



Revel in the snow-sure surroundings and maybe follow in the trail of local hero and Olympic Gold Medalist, Stephan Eberharter, the world famous skier after whom one of the runs has been named. The choice of winter sports activities is enormous and includes 70km of cross-country ski trails, numerous well cleared winter walkways, sleigh rides through the magical winter wonderland and various ice skating rinks.
